As Mo Willems releases (possibly) the last book in his popular "Elephant & Piggie" series, it is a perfect title for how we feel towards all of you. Piggie is making a list of everyone he'd like to thank. Someone is definitely missing from his list. Gerald, his best friend the Elephant, keeps hinting at who it could be. We get teary-eyed at the end when the two friends break the fourth wall (as they did so well in We Are In A Book!) and thank their readers-- yes, you and us, and your children, and your grandchildren and all their teachers-- for the years of success they've enjoyed. This will make a great gift for Teacher Appreciation Week (May 2-6, 2016.)— Alli
Gerald is careful. Piggie is not.
Piggie cannot help smiling. Gerald can.
Gerald worries so that Piggie does not have to. Gerald and Piggie are best friends. In The Thank You Book , Piggie wants to thank EVERYONE. But Gerald is worried Piggie will forget someone . . . someone important.
